7,8-Dihydroneopterin是一种具有抗氧化活性的蝶啶类化合物。它清除2,2-二苯基-1-苦味酰肼(DPPH)自由基，抑制铜离子诱导的LDL氧化。它还能降低低密度脂蛋白培养的THP-1细胞产生的硫代巴比妥酸活性物质(TBARS)，并抑制氧化低密度脂蛋白(oxLDL)诱导的坏死。
