Doxorubicin free base，又称阿霉素，是一种具有抗肿瘤活性的蒽环类抗生素。批准用于癌症治疗的原料药是盐酸阿霉素。阿霉素是柔红霉素的羟基化同系物，是从细菌中分离出来的。阿霉素插入DNA螺旋的碱基对之间，从而阻止DNA复制并最终抑制蛋白质合成。注:Doxorubicin free base在普通溶剂中溶解度低。该产品的MedKoo原始CAT#为100280a。
